Meet Dr. O'Neal

We cherish and appreciate the individual relationships we have developed over the years with our patients and our colleagues. We always welcome the opportunity to serve the periodontal needs of a new or current dental patient.

Our goal is to create an easy and seamless transition for each patient as they receive their periodontal care in coordination with their restorative dentist.

Laser Periodontics

Dr. O'Neal uses laser technology to remove the hard deposits and toxins that cause periodontal disease to help stop the infection and give the gums an opportunity to heal. WaterLase Dentistry® and LANAP® Periodontal laser therapy use laser energy and a gentle water spray to treat the infected areas. Laser dentistry does not cut tissue in the same manner as traditional surgical instruments, so the procedure is more comfortable for the patient.

Dental Implants

All smiles are possible with dental implants! Dr. Cheria O'Neal places dental implants in our Marietta periodontal practice as part of your restorative dentist's treatment plan for your smile. Dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth, such as with an implant crown, or multiple missing teeth in combination with a bridge, partial, complete denture or overdenture.
